The Power of Price
An ebook is an information product that you download from a website and save on your computer. You can then read it on your computer or print it. The great thing about ebooks is that as soon as you buy them they’re available to download instantly and you can be reading it within a few minutes, so there’s no waiting for shipping.
Ebooks have also liberated many aspiring writers like myself. People who have knowledge and wanted to share it can now write a report on their computer and sell it online relatively cheaply compared with the traditional route of having to find a publisher, get the report printed (usually in multiples of 100) and then distribute them to customers via shops or through mail order. It also keeps prices low as there’s no printing prices to pay (which usually come up to $5 / £5 per book when you’re only producing a few hundred).
The great thing is customers can now access and capitalise on knowledge provided in ebooks fairly cheaply.
